Classic cues, city-proofed

Obedience that works in real life

Anyone can get a sit in a quiet kitchen. Our private sessions build cues that survive squirrels, skateboards, off-leash dogs, and crowded crosswalks — because we train in the environments where you actually need them.

Sessions move at your dog’s pace with clear markers, fair rewards, and homework you can finish in minutes a day.

  • Sit, down, stay, and rock-solid recall
  • Loose-leash heel past distractions
  • Settle on cue at cafés, parks, and home
  • Polite greetings with people and dogs

Obedience FAQs

Is my dog too old for obedience training?

No dog is too old. We regularly train seniors of 8, 10, even 12 years — older dogs often learn faster because they can focus longer.

How is private training different from group class?

Every minute is about your dog. We skip what your dog knows, drill what it doesn’t, and train in your real environments instead of a hall.

Will my dog listen to me, or only to the trainer?

To you — that is the point. We coach you to give cues, time rewards, and handle the leash, and we hand over the skills every session.

What equipment do we need?

A flat collar or harness, a 6-foot leash, and small tasty treats. If you use other gear, we’ll review it together at the first visit.

How many sessions until my dog is reliable?

Basic household manners usually take 3 to 4 sessions; reliable off-leash-style recall and city heel take 6 to 8. Your quote includes a clear plan.
